Rick Moranis was randomly attacked in New York City on Thursday.
The beloved actor — who recently made headlines after showing up in a Mint Mobile ad — was punched in the face by an unknown suspect.
“He is fine but grateful for everyone’s thoughts and well wishes,” his rep told The Hollywood Reporter.
The attack occurred in broad daylight just before 7:30 a.m. on Central Park West near 70th Street.
The 67-year-old Moranis went to the hospital with pain in his head, back and hip before going to a station to report the crime, police told THR.
10:30 a.m.: Updated with a statement from Moranis’ rep.
